“Using New Media to prevent and combat against Media Violence” project focuses on combating media violence and making children, teachers and parents aware of the risks and hazards of social networking technologies and educating them to use such technologies in appropriate ways. The project will prepare teachers, after providing them the appropriate training (workshops, info days), to use educational content (digital learning objects based on structured lesson plans) in their class. Also, it will involve parents by organizing special events in order to make them aware of how to better inform their kids about the ways to be protected from hazards of the social net media.
